Juniper Labs (Exit to NEXT Insurance) - Juniper icreated the world’s first open-source database purpose-built to create significant value for commercial insurance companies. Their value proposition was the centralization and transparency we bring to this data as well as the solutions we are building on top of this open data platform. They created a community around data that enables curation, creation, and innovation for its members. I was an early stage Advisor.

MARBLE (Exit to The Zebra) - Advisor at Marble, the first rewards program for your home, car, and other personal insurance products, I also helped manage deal flow and fine-tune new processes as well and acted as the Designated Responsible Licened Producer (DLPR) for Life Insurance for the platform.

Tinting Insurance (Exited to Novacore) - Helped assist in building a niche program for the window tinting, PPF, and wrapping companies in the auto and flat glass industry with insurance and risk solutions. Assisted in the first hire, licensing an early sales as well. Tinting Insurance was rolled into Novacore to help launch a series of niche insurance products.

Miti Risk - Logistics firms are at an inflection point: cargo theft losses reached $725 million in 2025, a 60% increase in a single year, and the criminals responsible are hacking your business before stealing your cargo. Miti verifies all parties, every load, before freight moves, and notifies you when something looks suspicious. Our proprietary system runs on every load, and let's you focus on growing the business, rather than running compliance checks. We're built for truckers, by truckers.

1Fort - 1Fort streamlines the process of placing cyber insurance for middle-market businesses, saving brokers and insureds time and money. I currently advise on distribution in the Independent Agent channel.

InsNerds - I help moderate our 3,000 + user Slack community and sit on the Advisory Board, and previously recorded over 150 YouTubes with Insurance Professionals and Founders for the InsNerds YouTube channel.

WOUND DOWN PROJECTS

BrokerInsights USA - Broker Insights empowers commercial insurance brokers to optimize business placement and drive more value from data. Using our unrivaled Decision Intelligence platform, Broker Insights VisionTM, brokers can efficiently explore, simulate, and act on data insights. I have been assisting with US market entry.

Breezy (pet Insurance) - Breezy LLC, was a pet insurance aggregator (InsurTech) based out of Irvine, California. They worked on making Pet Insurance easy, and sharing while it is so valuable. Also, as pet insurance evolved, their goal was to help consumers make heads and tails of everything.

FINAEO - I opened up the US for the Toronto Canada based startup. I got myself and the company licensed in all 50 states before handing the responsibility off to a service provider. I helped build out and decommission our US office. I established cross-vertical partnerships with relevant software and Property Casualty partners. I explored the use of Zapier and other tech to help extend our reach and distribution.
